Parent Ambassadors

Who are Parent Ambassadors?

Parent Ambassadors identify and co-design approaches that support overburdened families staying safely together and thriving in their communities. The Parent Ambassador group is parent-led and focuses on community building and engaging parent voices. Parent Ambassadors engage with local/state officials, advocates, policymakers, and stakeholders to inform policy and budgetary actions, and serve as part of the overall leadership process for Connected Communities-Thriving Families.

Get Involved

Through MCC’s initiatives, we aim to amplify the voices of community and those with lived experiences to help them spark change in Missouri communities. Our Connected Communities - Thriving Families initiative includes our Youth Congress, Parent Ambassadors and Statewide Champions, forming groups of like-minded individuals who work together for the greater good of Missouri children and families.
