Why Become a Member?

  • Leadership Development

    MCC hosts retreats and convenings and shares child well-being industry trends and best practices for senior-level staff.
  • Advocacy

    MCC advocates to state and federal policymakers and administration leadership on issues of importance for Missouri children, families, communities, and providers who serve all of the above.
  • Networking & Briefings:

    MCC facilitates networking opportunities through regular membership meetings, regional engagements, weekly briefings and policy advisories.

  • Education & Training

    MCC conducts conferences and trainings to address emerging sector issues and practice needs, utilizing MCC member experts and national leaders’ expertise. MCC also administers the Medication Certification program to meet residential treatment regulations.
  • Organizational Development & Support:

    MCC provides individualized member support through 15 hours of targeted consultation and technical assistance; board and business development; government relations; executive leader support; and a 25% discount on Social Current COA Accreditation for full members.

Membership Levels

    Full Member

    This is a licensed entity providing child and family services, usually nonprofit and community organizations. Full members receive all publications and member benefits, including committee participation and eligibility for one representative on the board.

    Public Affiliate

    This is a governmental agency providing child and family services in Missouri. Public affiliates receive member discounts, participate on committees, and partake in the annual meeting. Public affiliates are not eligible for representation on the board and have no general membership voting rights.

    Business Affiliate

    This is a for-profit vendor of goods and/or services. This category of membership does not have voting rights.

    Advocate

    This includes any individual interested in the welfare of Missouri children and families. Advocates receive a personal member discount and the newsletter.
